All of our dog training services are created to meet the individual needs of each dog and owner. We come to your home if your dog needs to learn the good manners expected of them in the home. If you are struggling with a problem behavior in a different location, we can plan to meet for our session in that location.
Training and coaching includes scientifically proven, positive, reward-based, humane methods that ensure dogs love learning. We focuses on instilling good habits in each dog so they can be cherished family companions who have self-control and good manners. using gentle methods to get strong results. C.T.C., Certificate in Training and Counceling
graduate of the distinguished Academy for Dog Trainers. While at the Academy she was able to apply her classwork to training several of the SPCA shelter dogs and was exposed to a wide variety of breeds and temperaments. Since that time she has worked with hundreds of client dogs of all breed groups and with training issues that have ranged from basic obedience to severe aggression and fear-based behavior problems.
C.P.D.T, .Certified Professional Dog Traine - from the independently accredited Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT). This nationally-recognized certification requires years of experience; references from veterinarians, colleagues and clients; and a formal examination to confirm expertise and proficiency in dog learning theory, canine husbandry, and ethology—the scientific study of animal behavior. Maintaining this certification requires ongoing continuing education to stay up to date with new developments in dog training.
C.C.F.T., Certified Canine Fitness Trainer (CCFT) - credential through the University of Tennessee. This program involves extensive education in essential concepts of body mechanics, anatomy, functional movement, behavior and nutrition to better understand the fundamentals of canine fitness and conditioning. The required Hands-On Lab advanced understanding and skills with hands-on lab focused on conducting standardized canine fitness assessments utilizing the Canine Fitness Performance™ (CFP™) methodology, injury prevention and care, program design and implementation. An emphasis is included on movement identification and correction as well as the opportunity to explore specialty life stage requirements for working and sporting dogs, puppies, seniors and pet dogs.
